Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Engineer/Executive with experience in fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing. The candidate must possess sound knowledge of welding processes, quality inspection methods, and fabrication standards to ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated and sheet metal components.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Inspect welding activities and verify weld quality as per applicable standards and customer requirements.
- Monitor fabrication processes including cutting, bending, welding, assembly, and finishing operations.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with production teams.
- Ensure adherence to welding procedures and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with production, design, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and implement corrective actions.
- Support customer inspections, third-party inspections, and internal quality audits.
- Maintain records related to quality control and testing activities.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E.



in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Quality Control within fabrication, sheet metal, heavy engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience in welding inspection and fabrication quality control is mandatory.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Solid knowledge of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, ARC/ CO₂ welding.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of fabrication standards and quality inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with dimensional inspection tools and measuring instruments.
- Understanding of welding defects, fit-up inspection, and visual inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of quality documentation, NCRs, CAPA, and inspection reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Salary Bracket - Rs 18,000/- to Rs 25,000/-

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
