About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and work primarily on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media video content.

This is not just a basic editing role. We are looking for someone who can understand the content, think creatively, and turn raw footage into engaging and professional videos.

You will be working with raw footage from different clients and will be responsible for editing videos according to the required style, quality and delivery schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit videos primarily for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Occasionally edit long-form YouTube videos when required
- Handle and organize raw video files properly as instructed
- Understand the content and decide how the video should be structured
- Develop creative editing ideas based on the content and target audience
- Create a basic storyboard / editing flow for client videos when required
- Maintain a consistent editing style for each client/brand
- Add appropriate:
- B-rolls
- Captions and subtitles
- Sound effects (SFX)
- Background music
- Transitions
- Motion graphics where required
- Zooms, cuts and other engaging editing techniques
- Make videos engaging and suitable for social media platforms
- Take feedback positively and make revisions when required




- Manage multiple video projects and follow the assigned schedule
- Deliver videos on time without compromising on quality
- Work closely with the creative and marketing team
- Maintain proper file organization and project workflow

Required SkillsMust Have

- Good knowledge of professional video editing
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Positive sense of timing, pacing and storytelling
- Ability to identify the right cuts and remove unnecessary portions
- Understanding of B-roll selection, captions, music and SFX
- Ability to follow a reference style and also create your own editing approach
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work within deadlines

Preferred Tools

Adobe Premiere Pro – Preferred

Knowledge of any of the following is an added advantage:

- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator

Candidates who are highly skilled in video editing but use DaVinci Resolve instead of Premiere Pro are also welcome to apply.

Experience

1–2 years of professional video editing experience is preferred.

However, freshers are welcome to apply if they have strong editing skills, good knowledge of the required tools and a good portfolio/showreel.

Your actual editing ability matters more than just your years of experience.

This is a full-time, work-from-office position.
