About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Program Manager – Admissions & Conversion to own one of the most critical stages of our admissions funnel — converting offered students into enrolled students.

The ideal candidate will bring strong consultative selling, counselling and objection-handling skills, with the ability to understand a family's concerns, build trust, articulate the value of the program and drive the conversation towards enrolment.

Specifically, this role will involve

1. Offer-to-Enrolment Conversion

Own the conversion of students who have received an offer from Masters’ Union through to confirmed enrolment.

Build and maintain solid relationships with offered students and their parents throughout the decision-making process.

Understand the candidate's decision drivers, concerns, alternatives and barriers to enrolment.

Drive timely and structured follow-ups to ensure strong movement across the conversion funnel.

2. Parent & Student Counselling

Conduct high-quality, consultative conversations with students and parents around program fit, outcomes, career opportunities, fees, financing and the overall Masters’ Union proposition.

Address concerns and objections with empathy, confidence and strong product/program knowledge.

Build credibility and trust with parents, who are often key decision-makers in the enrolment journey.

Help families navigate the decision-making process and provide clarity at every stage.

3.

Conversion & Sales Ownership

Own individual conversion targets and consistently work towards achieving enrolment goals.

Develop personalised conversion strategies for different student profiles and decision stages.

Identify at-risk candidates and proactively develop interventions to improve conversion.

Maintain a strong sense of urgency around high-intent and deadline-driven opportunities.

4. Funnel Management & Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the offered-student pipeline.

Track key conversion metrics including offer-to-enrolment conversion, follow-up effectiveness, drop-offs and reasons for non-conversion.

Use funnel data and candidate insights to identify patterns and improve conversion strategies.

Work closely with the wider admissions team to ensure seamless handoffs and information flow.

Ideal candidate will have

5+ years of relevant experience in admissions, counselling, consultative sales or customer conversion.

Candidates with experience as Academic Counsellors, Senior Admissions Counsellors, Admissions Managers, Heads of Admissions or similar roles would be particularly relevant.

Strong B2C sales orientation with a demonstrated track record of achieving conversion targets.

Excellent communication, persuasion and objection-handling skills.

Comfortable having detailed and often high-stakes conversations with parents and families.

Strong consultative selling ability — able to diagnose needs rather than simply pitch a product.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
