Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and skilled VFX Artist & Video Editor to join our team in Calicut, Kerala. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visual storytelling and be capable of creating engaging, professional-quality videos with video editing, VFX, motion graphics, animation and visual effects.

The candidate will work on social media videos, promotional content, advertisements, corporate videos, reels and other digital content.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw video footage into high-quality and engaging final videos.
- Create Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos and digital advertisements.
- Create VFX, motion graphics, transitions, text animations and visual effects.
- Perform green-screen keying, masking, rotoscoping, tracking and compositing.
- Add sound effects, background music and basic audio enhancement.
- Perform color correction and basic color grading.
- Create attractive titles, lower thirds, graphics and animations.
- Understand video pacing, storytelling, timing and visual composition.
- Work closely with the creative/marketing team to understand project requirements.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Maintain proper organization of project files, footage and digital assets.
- Stay updated with current video editing, VFX, social media and AI video trends.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator will be an advantage.




- Understanding of VFX and compositing techniques.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Good understanding of color correction and grading.
- Good knowledge of audio editing and sound effects.
- Ability to edit short-form content such as Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Robust creative and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Mocha, Nuke or other compositing/tracking software.
- Experience with AI video generation/editing tools.
- Experience creating advertising and promotional content.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Knowledge of current Instagram, YouTube and social media trends.
- Flexible working hours - GCC Country working

Candidate Profile

- Creative mindset with a passion for video production and visual effects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong sense of visual quality and attention to detail.
- Candidates who can demonstrate a strong portfolio/showreel will be preferred.

Education

Degree/Diploma in Visual Effects, Animation, Multimedia, Film Production, Video Editing, Graphic Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong practical skills.
