Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Extruder Operator to operate and monitor extrusion machinery in our Feed Plant. The candidate should have positive hands-on experience in feed extrusion operations, equipment monitoring, process control, and maintaining product quality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor feed extrusion machines and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle complete extrusion operations including start-up, running, parameter adjustments, and shutdown.
- Monitor key process parameters such as temperature, moisture, pressure, steam, feed rate, and motor load.
- Ensure proper processing of raw materials as per production requirements and product specifications.
- Maintain consistent product quality, size, texture, moisture, and output.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic operational problems, abnormalities, and machine breakdowns.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Utility teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor machine performance and report deviations to the Production Supervisor / Plant Head.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the extrusion area is clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain production records, machine parameters, and shift-wise operational reports.




- Minimize material wastage, downtime, and production losses.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and inform the Maintenance team about machine-related issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- ITI / Diploma / relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience as an Extruder Operator in a Feed Manufacturing Plant.
- Good practical knowledge of feed extrusion machinery and process operations.
- Experience in operating and monitoring industrial feed processing equipment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical aspects of extrusion equipment.
- Ability to identify abnormal machine conditions and take appropriate first-level action.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Good discipline, teamwork, and commitment to production and quality standards.
