Role Purpose:

Lead the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, customer-specific requirements and applicable VDA requirements, while driving customer satisfaction, continual improvement and reduction of quality losses.

Ideal Candidate

A senior Quality professional who can lead the QMS & MR team, face customer/certification audits, manage customer quality issues and drive measurable improvement in foundry quality and COPQ.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and maintain the IATF 16949 QMS and act as Management Representative.
- Drive IATF, ISO, VDA 6.3, customer, process, product and sustainability audits.
- Ensure audit readiness, effective CAPA and timely closure of audit findings.
- Lead customer complaint management, 8D, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor customer PPM, internal rejection, scrap, rework, COPQ and other quality KPIs.
- Ensure effective implementation of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC.
- Drive quality control across ferrous foundry processes including melting, molding, core making, pouring, fettling, heat treatment and inspection, as applicable.




- Lead reduction of casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage, inclusions, cracks, sand defects, misrun and cold shut.
- Drive process capability, defect prevention, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen and continual improvement.
- Coordinate supplier quality improvement and supplier corrective actions.
- Lead Management Review and present QMS performance to Top Management.
- Develop internal auditors and strengthen quality awareness across the organization.
- Coordinate sustainability/ESG audits and other customer compliance assessments.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchase, Maintenance, HR and EHS to achieve quality objectives.

Required:

- 15–20 years of experience in Quality/QMS, preferably in a ferrous casting/foundry and automotive environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with IATF 16949 and ISO audits.
- Good exposure to VDA 6.3, customer audits and sustainability audits.
- Solid knowledge of Core Tools, 8D, RCA, CAPA, SPC and MSA.
- Experience in casting defect analysis and foundry quality systems.
- IATF/ISO Lead Auditor and VDA 6.3 certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
