We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Executive who is passionate about quality systems and regulatory compliance.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Executive to strengthen our QA department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, packaging compliance, documentation accuracy, and successful regulatory audits. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a skilled manufacturing environment with exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP practices, nutraceutical regulations, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Review, verify, and approve label artwork, carton text, and packaging content for nutraceutical supplements and Ayurvedic products in accordance with the dosage form, applicable regulatory guidelines, Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) values, statutory declarations, ingredient listings, nutritional information, warnings, storage conditions, and usage instructions.
Conduct routine in-process quality inspections during manufacturing and packaging operations to ensure strict compliance with approved specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and established quality standards.
Maintain and control all Quality Assurance documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packing Records (BPR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), deviation reports, CAPA documentation.
Coordinate and represent the Quality Assurance department during internal audits, customer audits. Prepare audit documentation, respond to audit observations, implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure continuous regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with Production, Packaging, and Purchase departments to ensure consistent product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
Monitor compliance with GMP, GHP, FSSAI, AYUSH, and other applicable quality and regulatory requirements while driving continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Nutraceuticals, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, GHP, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and regulatory compliance.
Understanding of nutraceutical labeling requirements, Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) values,
packaging compliance, and statutory declarations.
Experience in in-process quality assurance, documentation management, audit preparation, deviation handling, and CAPA implementation.
Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Solid communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
