Physiotherapist Location: The Behaviour Junction, Jalandhar
Job Type: Full-time Work
Location: In-person About the Role The Behaviour Junction is looking for a qualified and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team and work with children with developmental, neurological, and motor difficulties. The physiotherapist will provide individualized interventions to improve children’s gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, posture, mobility, and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities * Conduct physiotherapy assessments and identify individual physical and motor needs. * Plan and provide individualized physiotherapy sessions. * Work on gross motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, posture, gait, and mobility. * Use age-appropriate and engaging therapeutic activities to encourage participation. * Support children in developing functional mobility and physical independence. * Monitor and document each child’s progress and maintain session records. * Develop suitable home-based exercises and provide guidance to parents/caregivers. * Collaborate with psychologists, behaviour therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and special educators.
* Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and parent meetings when required. * Maintain a safe, positive, and child-friendly therapy environment. Requirements * BPT/MPT from a recognized institution. * Valid skilled registration, where applicable. * Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, neurological conditions, or motor difficulties will be an advantage. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy, and a child-centred approach. * Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Skills * Pediatric physiotherapy experience. * Knowledge of developmental milestones and motor development. * Ability to design engaging, play-based physical activities. * Good clinical documentation and progress-monitoring skills.
