Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Location: Dibrugarh / Tinsukia, Assam

About the Role

Saburi Plywoods is looking for a result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales and strengthen the company's market presence across Dibrugarh and Tinsukia. The ideal candidate must have proven sales experience in the Plywood Industry with strong knowledge of the local dealer and distributor market.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and manage the dealer and distributor network across Dibrugarh and Tinsukia.
- Identify new dealers and business opportunities to expand market coverage.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, distributors, contractors, architects, and other channel partners.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor sales, product movement, and market potential.
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and brand promotion at dealer outlets.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
- Drive secondary sales and ensure consistent product movement through the channel.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatches, and customer service.




- Monitor outstanding payments and support timely collection from channel partners.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for management.
- Participate in dealer meets, promotional activities, exhibitions, and other sales initiatives.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Relevant experience in the Plywood Industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of the Dibrugarh and Tinsukia markets will be highly preferred.
- Proven experience in dealer/distributor/channel sales.
- Solid existing network of plywood dealers and distributors will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong target orientation and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
