About the Role

Jayair Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially strong Quotation Manager to manage the preparation, submission, and follow-up of quotations and commercial proposals. The candidate will work closely with the sales, design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements, BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
- Review customer enquiries, tender documents, technical specifications, and scope of work.
- Coordinate with the sales and design teams to understand technical requirements and prepare appropriate commercial offers.
- Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare detailed costing, pricing, BOQs, and commercial proposals.
- Ensure quotations are submitted within the required timelines.
- Review quotations for technical and commercial accuracy before submission.
- Maintain and update price lists, costing databases, vendor rates, and quotation records.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and improve margins.
- Coordinate with sales teams for quotation revisions and customer negotiations.
- Track submitted quotations and follow up with the sales team/customers for order conversion.
- Analyse quotation status, win/loss ratios, and pricing trends.
- Support the sales team in commercial negotiations and provide pricing guidance.




- Maintain proper documentation of quotations, revisions, and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and approval procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in quotation, estimation, tendering, costing, or commercial roles.
- Experience in the HVAC industry will be an added advantage / preferred.
- Good understanding of HVAC products, systems, equipment, and project requirements.
- Strong knowledge of costing, estimation, BOQ, pricing, and commercial calculations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Good coordination skills with sales, design, procurement, and project teams.
- Ability to handle multiple enquiries and quotations simultaneously.
