Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior MEP Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team for our Amusement Park, Snow Storm and Resort operations at Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala.

The selected candidate will support the engineering team in the operation, inspection, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable functioning of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Senior Engineers / Engineering Manager in day-to-day MEP maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems as per prescribed checklists.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the facility.
- Monitor the condition and performance of MEP equipment and installations.
- Assist in identifying and troubleshooting MEP-related faults and abnormalities.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and other maintenance teams.
- Support maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, HVAC systems, water-supply systems and other MEP equipment, as applicable.
- Assist in monitoring electrical distribution systems and related MEP services.
- Support maintenance of plumbing lines, water supply, drainage and associated systems.
- Assist in inspection and maintenance of HVAC and ventilation systems.
- Monitor equipment for abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, overheating or other issues and report them immediately.
- Maintain daily inspection and maintenance records.




- Prepare basic maintenance reports and communicate issues to the concerned Senior Engineer.
- Assist in preventive-maintenance scheduling and follow-up.
- Support breakdown maintenance and emergency response activities.
- Assist in coordinating with external vendors and contractors for MEP maintenance and servicing.
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of new MEP equipment and systems.
- Assist in checking the availability of required spare parts, tools and consumables.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in MEP service areas.
- Follow approved SOPs, safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment abnormalities or potential hazards.
- Support energy and water conservation initiatives.
- Assist in coordinating MEP activities with Operations and other departments to minimize operational disruption.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, inspections and breakdowns.
- Perform other engineering and maintenance duties assigned by management.

Qualification Required

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP or related Engineering discipline.
- Candidates with a Diploma in MEP / Building Services Engineering will be preferred.
- Additional technical certifications will be an advantage.

Experience Required

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in MEP Engineering / Maintenance.
- Experience in Amusement Parks,



Theme Parks, Snow Parks, Resorts, Hotels, Hospitality, Commercial Buildings or similar facilities will be preferred.
- Fresh Engineering Graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.

The ideal candidate should be a technically sound, disciplined and safety-conscious Junior Engineer with a strong interest in MEP systems and maintenance.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a tourism, entertainment and high-footfall environment, where reliable building services, equipment availability and safety are important.

The candidate should be willing to work in shifts, weekends, public holidays and during peak tourist seasons as required by the operation.
