About the Role

VidyaChamps is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and student-focused Social Science & English Teacher to teach students of Classes 7 to 10 following the CBSE and ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be capable of making concepts easy to understand, developing strong subject fundamentals and preparing students for excellent academic performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English and Social Science to Classes 6–10 as per CBSE and ICSE curriculum.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and practice material.
- Explain concepts clearly using engaging and student-friendly teaching methods.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and communication skills in English.
- Teach History, Geography, Civics/Political Science and other relevant Social Science topics effectively.
- Conduct regular class tests, quizzes, assessments and revision sessions.
- Analyse students' academic performance and provide individual guidance wherever required.
- Prepare students for school examinations, periodic tests, pre-boards and board examinations.
- Maintain proper records of students' attendance, academic performance and test results.
- Identify academically weak students and provide additional academic support.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, communication skills and conceptual understanding.
- Keep teaching methodology aligned with the latest CBSE and ICSE examination patterns and requirements.
- Coordinate with academic team members regarding syllabus completion, assessments and student progress.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' academic performance when required.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, motivating learning environment.
- Participate in academic activities, workshops, seminars,



parent meetings and institute events.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience in Classes 6–10.
- Strong command over English and Social Science subjects.
- Familiarity with CBSE and ICSE curriculum and examination patterns.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in a relevant subject preferred.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Positive classroom management skills.
- Strong command of English language, grammar and written communication.
- Comfortable using digital teaching tools, presentations and online resources.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to students' academic growth.
