To provide accurate and timely radiological diagnosis and reporting, support clinical teams in patient management, and ensure high-quality radiology services in accordance with hospital protocols and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and other applicable radiological investigations as per qualification and hospital requirements.
- Provide accurate, transparent and timely radiology reports.
- Correlate imaging findings with clinical history and previous investigations.
- Communicate critical and urgent findings promptly to the concerned consultant/RMO.
- Participate in emergency and urgent radiology reporting as required.
- Guide radiology technicians and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and maintenance of radiology records.
- Maintain patient safety and follow radiation protection protocols.
- Support image-guided procedures, where qualified and required.
- Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards and statutory requirements.
- Maintain professional confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Coordinate with the Radiology Department, clinicians, nursing staff and hospital administration for smooth workflow.
Qualification
- MBBS + MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiodiagnosis/Radiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Additional relevant certifications/fellowships will be an advantage.
Experience
- Experience as a Consultant Radiologist in a multispecialty hospital preferred.
- Fresh MD/DNB candidates with relevant clinical competency may also be considered.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
