Shree Bajrang Motors Pvt. Ltd. is an authorized service center of Ashok Leyland Heavy Commercial Vehicles, providing qualified servicing, repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and customer support for heavy commercial vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced and technically capable floor supervisor to supervise workshop activities, technicians, and job execution while ensuring quality, productivity, and timely vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Workshop Floor Management

- Supervise day-to-day activities on the workshop floor.
- Allocate vehicles/jobs to technicians according to their skills and workload.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance work.
- Ensure proper utilization of workshop manpower, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with workshop SOPs.
- Coordinate with the workshop manager and service advisors regarding job status.

2. Job Card & Vehicle Management

- Review job cards and understand customer complaints and required repairs.
- Ensure technicians properly diagnose and attend to the complaints mentioned in the job card.
- Monitor open job cards and identify delayed/pending jobs.
- Ensure proper documentation of additional repairs and communicate requirements to the Service Advisor.
- Ensure vehicles are not held unnecessarily due to poor coordination or incomplete work.
- Monitor vehicle movement within the workshop and ensure proper parking and safety.

3. Technical Supervision

- Support technicians in complex repair and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to Ashok Leyland technical standards and recommended procedures.
- Verify that appropriate tools, equipment and technical information are used.
- Escalate major technical issues to the Workshop Manager/Technical Advisor when required.

4. Quality Control

- Inspect completed jobs before vehicle delivery.
- Ensure customer complaints are properly rectified.
- Conduct or arrange road tests wherever required.
- Ensure no vehicle is delivered with unresolved complaints or incomplete work.




- Monitor repeat repairs and identify the root cause.
- Maintain high standards of repair quality and workmanship.

5. Productivity & Performance Management

- Monitor technician productivity and efficiency.
- Track job completion time and workshop turnaround time.
- Ensure technicians achieve assigned productivity targets.
- Identify reasons for delays and take corrective action.
- Monitor bay utilization and ensure optimum use of workshop capacity.
- Support the workshop manager in achieving workshop revenue and efficiency targets.

6. Parts & Service Coordination

- Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of required spare parts.
- Follow up on parts pending against job cards.
- Ensure correct parts are issued and properly fitted.
- Coordinate with the service advisor regarding additional parts/repair requirements.
- Ensure unused or incorrect parts are returned to the Parts Department as per procedure.

7. Customer Complaint Support

- Assist service advisors in resolving technical customer complaints.
- Explain technical issues and repair requirements when necessary.
- Support resolution of repeat complaints and dissatisfied customer cases.
- Ensure customer concerns are addressed professionally and promptly.

8. Team Management

- Supervise technicians, mechanics, helpers, and other workshop personnel.
- Distribute work fairly according to employee skill and workload.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and discipline of workshop staff.
- Identify training requirements and provide on-the-job guidance.
- Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive workshop environment.

9. Tools, Equipment & Safety

- Ensure technicians use appropriate tools and workshop equipment.




- Monitor proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Ensure workshop housekeeping and 5S practices are followed.
- Ensure employees use required PPE and safety equipment.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment problems to the concerned authority.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of heavy commercial vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
- Strong knowledge of workshop processes and job-card management.
- Good manpower allocation and team-management skills.
- Ability to monitor technician productivity and repair quality.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vehicles simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and workshop management systems will be preferred.

Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- A diploma in automobile engineering will be preferred.
- Relevant technical certification or OEM training will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in an automobile workshop.
- Experience in Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Ashok Leyland commercial vehicle workshops will be preferred.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
