Role Overview Responsible for execution, erection, and commissioning of high-voltage GIS/AIS switchyard systems up to 400kV. Key Technical Responsibilities Execution & Installation • Supervise erection of CT, PT, Circuit Breakers, Isolators, Lightning Arresters, CVT, Busbars. • Installation of GIS bays including SF6 gas handling and interlocking systems. • Structure erection, equipment alignment, leveling, and torquing.
• Installation of earthing and grounding systems as per standards. Testing & Commissioning • Conduct pre-commissioning checks and commissioning of switchyard equipment. • Perform CT/PT testing, breaker timing test, primary injection test. • Conduct CRM test, IR test, HV testing, and functional interlock checks. • Support relay configuration and protection scheme testing.
