Varun Beverages Ltd. seeks an Associate for its Production department. The successful candidate will operate and monitor filling machines, ensuring accurate filling and product quality. They will also perform routine maintenance and coordinate with various teams for efficient production.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Production team as an Associate. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our beverage production process, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your primary focus will be on operating and monitoring filling machines, but you will also be involved in various other aspects of production, working closely with different teams to optimize our processes.

- Operate and monitor filling machines, following production requirements and ensuring accurate filling volumes/weights.
- Set up, adjust, and change over the filler machine for different products and pack sizes, maintaining product quality.
- Monitor machine performance, identify abnormalities, and report breakdowns promptly.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance to ensure machine efficiency.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Conduct in-process quality checks, maintain production records,



and minimize product wastage and downtime.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams for seamless operations and issue resolution.
- Maintain a clean and organized machine and work area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Report equipment problems, quality issues, and safety hazards to the supervisor for timely action.
- Assist in training and guiding new team members on machine operations and safety protocols.

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in food/beverage production or machinery operation is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of filling machine operations and maintenance practices.
- Ability to understand and follow SOPs, GMP, and safety guidelines.
- Basic understanding of quality control and in-process checks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
- Physical ability to perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production requirements.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per production needs.
