Electronic QC Testing Engineer – Job Description

Job Summary

The Electronic QC Testing Engineer is responsible for testing, inspection, and quality assurance of electronic components, PCBs, and medical equipment. The role ensures that all products meet required quality standards, safety guidelines, and performance specifications before dispatch.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & Testing

- Perform testing of electronic circuits, PCBs, and assemblies
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspection of products
- Identify defects and perform fault analysis & troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety guidelines

Production & Assembly Support

- Carry out minor and major soldering on electronic components
- Assist in assembly and rework of PCBs and devices
- Support production team in maintaining product quality

Testing Equipment Handling

- Use instruments like oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, LCR meter
- Ensure calibration and proper functioning of testing tools

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain QC reports, inspection records, and test data
- Prepare daily/weekly quality reports
- Follow QMS documentation standards





Process Improvement

- Analyze test results and suggest process improvements
- Work with design/R&D; teams to resolve technical issues
- Support implementation of recent manufacturing techniques

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or Instrumentation

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals (analog & digital)
- Hands-on experience in PCB testing & soldering
- Knowledge of circuit debugging and failure analysis
- Familiarity with ISO / QMS standards
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and quality focus

Experience

- Fresher to 2–3 years (electronics manufacturing / QC / testing preferred)
