Job Title: Manager – Accounts

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts to oversee accounting operations for Evolv Clothing. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, vendor payments, and timely month-end closures while supporting business decision-making through financial analysis and profitability reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting, GST compliance, taxation, financial controls, and ERP systems, with the ability to independently manage multiple business entities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Role Purpose
The Manager – Accounts will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions, statutory compliance, taxation, accounts payable, and financial reporting for multiple business entities. The role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, efficient cash flow management, and timely reporting to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Book Closure
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for Evolv Clothing and EVOS.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
Monitor ledger scrutiny and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
Prepare monthly style-wise profitability reports for management review.
GST & Statutory Compliance
Handle end-to-end GST compliance for multiple entities.
Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 accurately and within statutory timelines.
Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.
Resolve GST-related discrepancies and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Coordinate with auditors and consultants during GST assessments and audits.
TDS & Payroll Compliance
Compute and reconcile TDS on Salaries.
Prepare and file Form 24Q within statutory timelines.
Ensure accurate deduction and compliance with Income Tax regulations.
Support payroll-related accounting and statutory reconciliations.
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
Manage vendor accounting and payment processing.
Review vendor invoices and reconcile vendor statements.
Ensure timely vendor payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Resolve vendor-related accounting discrepancies efficiently.
Banking & Financial Coordination
Prepare and submit stock statements to banks.
Coordinate with banking partners for routine financial documentation.
Support working capital and banking compliance requirements.
Ensure timely submission of financial information as required by financial institutions.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
Analyze style-wise profitability, operational costs, and financial performance.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Provide financial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready financial records.
Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors during audits.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen financial controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Experience handling GST, TDS, Accounts Payable, and financial reporting.
Experience in month-end book closure and profitability reporting.
Experience working with manufacturing, export, or apparel companies is preferred.
Experience managing accounting for multiple business entities will be an added advantage.
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
Expertise in GSTR-2B reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.
Hands-on experience in TDS computation, salary TDS adjustments, and Form 24Q filing.
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and vendor reconciliation.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and SAP (preferred).
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills.
