1. Job Purpose
The Video Editor & Photo Editor will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering high-quality visual content for KIMS Super Speciality Hospital's digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, website, internal communication, hospital events, and promotional campaigns.
The candidate must be able to convert hospital activities, consultant interactions, patient-related content (with proper consent), events, awareness programs, and marketing requirements into professional visual content while maintaining the hospital's brand image and professional standards.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Video Editing
- Edit short-form videos, Reels, Shorts, interviews, consultant videos, awareness videos, hospital events, and promotional videos.
- Create engaging videos suitable for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp.
- Add captions, subtitles, graphics, transitions, animations, music, voiceovers and other required elements.
- Edit consultant/patient education videos professionally while maintaining medical accuracy and dignity.
- Create before/after edits, promotional videos, testimonials and event highlights wherever applicable and permitted.
- Maintain proper video formats, resolutions, aspect ratios and file quality for different platforms.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned videos as per the content calendar.
- Maintain organized folders and backups of raw footage and final edited videos.
B. Photo Editing
- Edit photographs taken during hospital events, consultant shoots, awareness campaigns and promotional activities.
- Perform professional colour correction, cropping, resizing, exposure correction and basic retouching.
- Prepare photographs for social media, website, posters, banners, advertisements and internal communication.
- Maintain consistency in image quality and hospital branding.
- Ensure that editing does not misrepresent medical conditions, procedures, patients or clinical outcomes.
C. Content & Creative Support
- Work closely with the Marketing, HR, Social Media and concerned hospital departments.
- Support the social media team in producing content as per the monthly content calendar.
- Suggest creative ideas for Reels, Shorts, campaigns, events and hospital awareness content.
- Convert approved scripts and concepts into visually engaging content.
- Assist during photo/video shoots whenever required.
- Coordinate with the concerned team for required footage, photographs, scripts, logos and other creative assets.
3. Hospital-Specific Responsibilities
- Follow all hospital policies regarding patient privacy, confidentiality and consent.
- Do not record, edit or publish patient photographs/videos without proper authorization and consent.
- Maintain confidentiality of hospital information, patient information and internal documents.
- Ensure that all content published on behalf of KIMS is professional, ethical and aligned with hospital standards.
- Follow the approval process before publishing any official hospital content.
- Ensure that medical claims, treatment information and consultant statements are not altered in a misleading manner.
- Maintain proper records of approved photographs, videos and creative materials.
4. Daily / Weekly Deliverables
The employee will be expected to work according to the approved content calendar and assigned targets, which may include:
- Consultant videos
- Staff videos
- Patient stories/testimonials with proper consent
- Hospital event coverage
- Health-awareness Reels
- YouTube Shorts
- Instagram/Facebook content
- Promotional videos
- Photography and photo editing
- Campaign creatives
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Special-day/event creatives
All deliverables must be completed within the assigned timeline and submitted for approval before publication.
5. Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in professional video-editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro or equivalent
- Proficiency in photo-editing software such as:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Lightroom
- Canva or equivalent
- Knowledge of:
- Reels/Shorts editing
- Motion graphics
- Typography
- Colour correction
- Audio editing
- Subtitles/captions
- Basic animation
- Social media formats and specifications
- Knowledge of basic camera handling and photography will be an advantage.

7. Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
- Graduate/Diploma/Certification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film/Video Editing, Visual Communication, Mass Communication or related field.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in video editing, photo editing, digital media, advertising, corporate communication, healthcare marketing or a similar field.
- Candidates with strong portfolios may be considered irrespective of formal qualification.
8. Portfolio Requirement
Candidates must provide a portfolio/showreel demonstrating their previous work, particularly:
- Instagram Reels
- YouTube Shorts
- Promotional videos
- Interview/consultant videos
- Event videos
- Photography
- Photo editing
- Motion graphics
9. Performance Parameters
Performance will be evaluated on:
- Quality of video and photo editing
- Timely completion of assigned work
- Number and quality of approved deliverables
- Creativity and originality
- Adherence to the content calendar
- Social-media suitability of content
- Accuracy and professionalism
- Compliance with hospital confidentiality and consent requirements
- Coordination with Marketing/Social Media/HR teams

10. Key Expectation
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality and professional visual identity of KIMS Super Speciality Hospital across all digital and promotional platforms. The employee is expected to proactively contribute creative ideas while strictly following hospital policies, branding guidelines, confidentiality requirements and the approval system.
Note: The above responsibilities are indicative and may be modified or expanded based on organizational requirements.
Pay: ₹8,500.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
