Role: Product Manager Switchgear

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager Switchgear to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Switchgear product management and hands-on experience managing the complete product lifecycle, from product conceptualization and prototyping to R&D;, product launch, commercialization, and portfolio management.

The candidate will be responsible for driving the overall product strategy, ensuring successful product development and market launch, and managing the P&L; and C&L; of the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the entire lifecycle of Switchgear products, from concept development to product launch and portfolio management.

- Lead product conceptualization, prototyping, development, and commercialization.

- Work closely with R&D;, Engineering, Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product development.

- Drive product R&D; initiatives based on market requirements, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive analysis.

- Define and execute product roadmap and product strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Lead new product launches, including launch planning, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.





- Monitor product performance in the market and identify opportunities for product improvement, upgrades, and innovation.

- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify gaps and new product opportunities.

- Manage the P&L; of the product portfolio, including revenue, margins, pricing, and profitability.

- Track product-wise business performance and take corrective actions to achieve business and profitability targets.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product positioning and market communication.

- Gather and analyze customer and channel feedback to drive continuous product improvement.

- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including product introduction, growth, maturity, and product discontinuation/phase-out where required.

- Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Product Management within the Switchgear / Electrical Equipment industry.

- Solid understanding of Switchgear products and the electrical industry.

- Proven experience in managing the complete product lifecycle.

- Hands-on experience in product prototyping, R&D;, product development, and new product launches.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,700,000.00 per year
