Intermediate Interior Designer

What You Bring to the Team

Design Skills & Experience

- Architecture or design Degree or Diploma
- A design superstar who can contribute to and enhance the design conversation at TWG

Small and moderate scale project management from start to finish

- Concept & Design Development:
- Develop high-quality drawing and documentation sets
- Closeout Documentation
- Consult/coordinate with Canadian team to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space
- Work/coordinate with larger technical teams of consultants
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Personal organizational and time management skills

Attitude

- Takes ownership of Project and Project related issues
- A team player & a team leader as required, excellent work ethic and attitude
- Seeks creative solutions to systems and processes and develops and grows with the firm

Knowledge and experience

- 3+ years of interior design experience
- Awareness of interior construction practices
- Developing high-quality working drawings and schedules
- Professional experience using in AutoCAD,



Sketchup & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign)
- 3D modeling skills MUST, Sketchup with Vray, 3DSMax or any relevant 3D rendering software
- Able to read and understand specifications, architectural and structural drawings
- Hospitality project experience is preferred
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly on the job, specially building codes in Canada
