Job Title: Driving School In-Charge

Department: Training / Operations

Reports To: Branch Manager / General Manager

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the driving school.

Plan and schedule driving classes, theory classes, and practical training.

Allocate instructors and vehicles according to student requirements.

Monitor student attendance, training progress, and driving performance.

Ensure instructors follow proper training procedures and safety standards.

Maintain records of learner enrolment, training hours, test results, and certificates.

Coordinate learner licence and driving licence test procedures with the concerned authorities.

Ensure all training vehicles are properly maintained, insured, and legally compliant.

Conduct regular checks on vehicle cleanliness, safety equipment, and fitness.

Handle student/customer queries, complaints, and feedback.

Monitor fee collection and daily operational reports.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Support admission activities and promote driving school courses.





Ensure compliance with applicable RTO/transport department requirements.

Train and motivate driving instructors to maintain good customer service.

Take immediate action in case of accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or safety incidents.

Qualifications

Any Degree / Diploma preferred.

Valid Driving Licence with good driving experience.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in driving school, automobile, transport, or vehicle training operations.

Good knowledge of road safety and traffic rules.

Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records and reports.

Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Leadership and team-management ability.
