ob Purpose

The Mason General Trainer will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical training to candidates in masonry and construction activities. The trainer will develop trainees' skills in brickwork, blockwork, plastering, flooring, construction tools, measurements, and workplace safety as per the approved training curriculum and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom and practical training as per the approved curriculum and training schedule.
- Provide hands-on training in masonry and general construction activities.
- Demonstrate brick masonry, block masonry, plastering, flooring, and related construction work.
- Train candidates in reading basic construction drawings and measurements.
- Teach correct use of masonry tools, equipment, materials, and PPE.
- Train candidates in mortar preparation, material mixing, alignment, leveling, and finishing.
- Demonstrate proper construction techniques to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Train candidates on measurement, estimation, material handling, and wastage control.
- Ensure compliance with construction-site safety standards and safe working practices.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, assessments, tests, and skill evaluations.
- Identify trainees' learning gaps and provide additional practical support.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, practical logs, trainee progress reports, and MIS.
- Maintain training tools, equipment, materials,



and workshop/lab facilities.
- Support placement and industry-readiness activities by providing practical workplace knowledge.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager/Centre Head regarding trainee performance and training progress.
- Participate in inspections, assessments, audits, and monitoring visits.

Educational Qualification

- ITI in Mason/Masonry or relevant construction trade.
- Diploma/certification in Civil Construction or a related field will be an advantage.
- Relevant industry-recognized skill certification is preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in masonry/construction work.
- Prior experience as a Mason Trainer/Instructor will be preferred.
- Experience in government, CSR, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, or other skill-development projects will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
