Junior IT Administrator

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically capable Junior IT Administrator to join our IT support team and help ensure smooth, secure, and reliable day-to-day IT operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in IT administration and technical support, with strong hands-on knowledge of networking, Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory, hardware/software troubleshooting, and user support.

Experience working in a Design & Architecture Studio or similar creative/technical environment will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day on-site IT support to employees and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user-related issues.
- Administer and troubleshoot firewalls, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and network connectivity.
- Manage Active Directory, including users, computers, groups, permissions, and access management.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server 2022 environments.
- Manage user accounts, access, and basic administration for Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and Google Workspace / Google Admin Console.
- Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and other core networking services.
- Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain business applications and design software.
- Manage software licensing, updates, installations, and user access.




- Provide technical support for design and architecture applications, including Autodesk, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Cloud, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and BIM-related applications.
- Coordinate with software, hardware, network, and other IT vendors when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT assets, configurations, licenses, user access, and troubleshooting activities.
- Follow IT security, backup, access-control, and company IT policies.
- Identify recurring IT issues and recommend practical solutions to improve system reliability and user productivity.
- Support IT projects, upgrades, installations, and infrastructure improvements as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Administration, IT Support, System Administration, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Active Directory
- Windows Server 2022
- Firewall and network administration
- DNS and DHCP
- LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Google Workspace / Google Admin Console
- Desktop and laptop hardware/software support
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize day-to-day IT issues.
- Valuable communication and documentation skills.




- Ability to coordinate effectively with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Strong customer-service mindset and ability to support non-technical users.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience supporting a Design & Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or BIM environment will be preferred.

Familiarity with the following applications will be an advantage:

- Autodesk products
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Bluebeam
- SketchUp
- BIM-related applications
- Other architecture, engineering, visualization, or design software

Work Requirements

- This is an on-site IT support role.
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to the office and provide timely on-site support when required.
- Flexibility to support occasional Saturday work or extended support hours based on business requirements.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and grow with the IT team.
