The Business Incubation Mandate

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hardcore sales builder to act as our Area Business Manager (ABM) for Imphal and the wider Manipur territory. This is a pure "zero-to-one" commercial incubation assignment. With no active pre-existing infrastructure or legacy accounts, you will step into an unchartered market as a business owner. Your sole mission is to cold-build the entire commercial ecosystem from scratch—appointing your own master stockists, cracking unmapped wholesale hubs, converting traditional retail counters, and driving immediate primary/secondary revenue for Bitly (hygiene essentials), Tara's (breakfast lines), Himalayan Heat (multigrain snacks), and Cool It (beverages).

Core Responsibilities & Autonomous Execution

- Zero-Base Ecosystem Architecture: Independently survey and map the commercial landscape of Imphal and key feeder towns to identify high-potential trading zones, wholesale syndicates, and retail clusters completely untouched by our brands.
- Master Stockist & Wholesaler Acquisition: Hunt, pitch, and sign up powerful regional distributors and stockists who have strong capital backing, securing initial bulk primary orders to establish our supply footprint.
- Aggressive Direct Retail Conversion: Lead from the front by personally walking local markets, pitching skeptical shopkeepers,



and overcoming market entry barriers to turn independent grocery and general stores into active weekly buyers.
- Full Territory Revenue Accountability: Take total P&L; ownership of the Manipur sector. You are entirely responsible for generating your sales pipeline from cold-canvas efforts, ensuring fast-paced order velocity, and managing local credit/collection cycles.
- Mobile-First Field Governance: Implement strict daily discipline using our digital field automation app, tracking store mapping, real-time order bookings, and distribution penetration ratios.
- Ground Intelligence & Rapid Strategy Pivots: Analyze local consumer behavior, competitor pricing moves, and supply chain bottlenecks, delivering direct, high-impact tactical reports to leadership.

Candidate Specifications & Qualifications

- Experience Profile: 5 to 9 years of aggressive field management experience specializing in recent territory launch, regional business incubation, cold-canvas distribution scaling, or within the FMCG or packaged goods industry.
- Educational Background: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce.
- Critical Skills: Unyielding grit, exceptional high-stakes negotiation abilities, strong financial acumen regarding trade terms, and professional fluency in English, Hindi, and local language .
- Mobility & Logistics: Must possess a valid driving license and comfortable vehicle arrangements, with a deep readiness for frequent local travel across Imphal and challenging regional transit routes.

Pay: ₹18,278.91 - ₹25,447.11 per month
