About the Prospect

Camellia Staffing is hiring a Junior Accountant for one of our clients, a growing tech-enabled organization operating in the logistics and supply chain sector.

We are looking for an accounting professional with at least 1 year of relevant experience who has a good understanding of day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, GST, TDS, and accounting documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record sales, purchase, expense, and other accounting transactions.
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare and maintain vendor payment records.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in customer and vendor account reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain accounting-related MIS reports.
- Assist in compiling data for GST and TDS compliance.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers for routine accounting queries.
- Assist the senior accounts team during audits and compliance activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving them.




- Ensure timely and accurate entries in accounting software/ERP systems.

Skills & Experience RequiredExperience

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Candidates should have practical exposure to day-to-day accounting activities.

Technical Skills

- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of ledger and bank reconciliation.

Soft Skills

- Strong attention to detail.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Language Skills

- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Education

- B.Com / M.Com preferred.
- Candidates with an equivalent Accounts or Finance background may also be considered.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on accounting experience, strong accounting fundamentals, and a willingness to grow into a broader accounting role.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.
