About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Marketing Executive to join our team in Andheri East, Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, generating leads, managing customer relationships, and expanding our customer base across the Masterbatch, Polymer Compounds, Plastics, and related industries.

The role involves regular customer visits, coordination with the R&D; team for product development, business lead management, sales follow-up, and payment collection.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, generate, and qualify new business leads from industries such as Injection Moulding, Extrusion, Blow Moulding, Automotive Components, and other plastic processing industries.
- Develop new customers and expand the company's customer base.
- Approach potential customers and understand their technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate closely with the R&D; team for development of colours, masterbatches, compounds, and other customized products for new and existing customers.
- Maintain and regularly update the computerized business lead/marketing database, including lead status, follow-ups, opportunities, and conversions.
- Conduct regular visits to customer sites/plants to identify new business opportunities and understand customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in Purchase, Technical, R&D;, and other relevant departments of customer organizations.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, samples, trials, orders, deliveries, and payments.
- Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports and regularly track individual performance against targets.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.




- Coordinate internally with Sales, R&D;, Production, Quality, and Accounts teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India, including overnight travel, for customer meetings and business development activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales/marketing experience in Masterbatches, Polymer Compounds, Dyes & Pigments, Additives, or related plastic/polymer industries.
- Freshers with relevant educational qualifications may also apply; training will be provided to suitable candidates.
- Strong technical understanding of Masterbatches, Additives, Pigments, Colours, and Polymer Compounds.
- Good business development and customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Email, and other computer applications.
- Ability to maintain accurate sales/lead records and prepare periodic reports.
- Strong follow-up, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to work extensively in the field.
- Must be willing to travel across India, including overnight travel, as required.
