Urgently required QA/QC (Mechanical) Engineer having knowledge for Inspection of pressure vessels, Heat exchangers & ASME Codes.

QC Engineer for outsourced inspection activities

Location: Rabale Unit
Department: QA/QC
Reporting To: QA/QC Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a QC Engineer with experience in heavy engineering and fabrication to ensure quality compliance during the manufacturing of static equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Storage Tanks, and Piping Spools.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform visual, dimensional, and material inspections of raw materials, in-process jobs, and finished products.

· Verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and gauges.

· Review fabrication, welding, fit-up, and quality records as per project requirements.

· Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, ITPs, and other QA/QC documentation.

· Ensure compliance with ASME, IBR, AWS, ISO 9001, and client specifications.

· Coordinate with production teams,



clients, and Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPI) during inspections.

Qualifications

· Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

· 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, or related fabrication industries.

Required Skills

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

· Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and documentation.

· Familiarity with ASME, IBR, and welding inspection requirements.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel).

· Valuable communication skills and attention to detail.
