We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Valuation Analyst to join our CA firm. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in business and financial valuation assignments, conducting financial analysis, preparing valuation reports, and supporting clients with valuation-related requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform business, company, equity, and financial instrument valuations.
- Conduct financial and industry research for valuation assignments.
- Analyse financial statements, business plans, projections, and other relevant data.
- Prepare detailed financial models and valuation workings.
- Apply appropriate valuation methodologies such as DCF, Comparable Companies, Comparable Transactions, and NAV.
- Perform financial forecasting and sensitivity analysis.
- Assist in preparation of valuation reports and supporting documentation.
- Review and analyse historical and projected financial performance.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required financial and business information.
- Assist in preparing valuation presentations and management reports.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of valuation calculations and documentation.
- Stay updated with applicable Companies Act, SEBI, RBI, Income Tax, and other relevant valuation regulations/guidelines.
- Support senior team members in valuation assignments and client discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- CA / CA Finalist / CFA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Good knowledge of financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of DCF and comparable company analysis will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with experience in Valuation, Transaction Advisory, Investment Banking, Financial Due Diligence, Corporate Finance, or Audit will be preferred.
