Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled CT / MRI Technician to join our Radiology Department. The candidate will be responsible for performing CT and MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and maintaining proper documentation in accordance with hospital and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform CT and MRI examinations as prescribed by the Radiologist.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation.
- Follow MRI safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Assist with contrast administration as per hospital protocol and under Radiologist supervision.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures for any adverse reactions.
- Ensure high-quality images are obtained and properly uploaded to PACS/RIS.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
- Coordinate with Radiologists, Nurses, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Follow NABH, AERB,



infection-control, and hospital safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the CT/MRI room and equipment.
- Participate in emergency and rotational/on-call duties when required.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience as a CT/MRI Technician.
- Hands-on experience in operating CT and MRI equipment.
- Good knowledge of patient positioning, imaging protocols, and safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of PACS/RIS.
- Knowledge of MRI safety and CT radiation safety.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Patient-focused approach with positive communication skills.
