Job Summary

Rig Operations Management Daily start-up and shutdown of HIL/SIL rigs, monitor health status, ensure rig readiness, manage uptime, support test execution teams, coordinate issue resolution

Lab Planning & Scheduling Manage rig booking calendar, allocate rigs to projects, resolve scheduling conflicts, perform capacity planning, prioritise critical test campaigns

Asset Management Maintain inventory of ECUs, sensors, harnesses, simulators and test equipment, track licence usage, manage spare parts, support procurement activities

Configuration Management Install approved software versions, maintain rig baselines, manage firmware updates, control hardware and software configurations, maintain version records

Incident Management Respond to rig failures, perform first-level troubleshooting, coordinate root cause analysis, escalate issues to suppliers, restore service availability

Maintenance Management Execute preventive maintenance plans, arrange calibration activities, perform periodic inspections, maintain certification records, manage equipment lifecycle

Vendor Coordination Interface with dSPACE, Vector, ETAS, NI, Speedgoat and other suppliers, track support tickets, manage AMC activities, coordinate hardware repair and upgrades

Change Control Review deployment requests, implement approved changes, maintain change records, conduct rollback activities when required, verify post-deployment stability

Process Compliance Ensure adherence to ISO 26262, ASPICE and Cybersecurity requirements, maintain audit evidence, support assessments and compliance reviews

Utilisation Analytics Monitor rig utilisation %, generate capacity reports, analyse downtime trends, identify bottlenecks, provide management dashboards

Documentation & SOPs Develop and maintain operating procedures, recovery procedures, work instructions, setup guides, user manuals and knowledge repositories

Key Responsibilities
1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client /team to understand functional /design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place/kept upto date.
2. To Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies /tools and Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
3.



To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure.
4. To develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
