Node.js Developer – 1+ Year Experience

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Node.js Developer with 1+ year of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Node.js and backend development, along with good problem-solving and programming skills.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable backend applications while working closely with the development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using **Node.js**.
* Design and develop **RESTful APIs** and integrate third-party services.
* Work with databases such as **MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL**.
* Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
* Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
* Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
* Implement security, performance, and scalability best practices.
* Work with **Git/GitHub** for version control.
* Understand project requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
* Continuously learn and adopt relevant technologies and development practices.

Required Skills:

* 1+ year of professional experience in Node.js development.**
* Robust knowledge of **Node.js and JavaScript**.
* Good understanding of **Express.js** or other Node.js frameworks.
* Experience in developing **REST APIs**.
* Working knowledge of **MongoDB** or any relational database.
* Good understanding of **HTML, CSS,



and basic frontend concepts** is an added advantage.
* Familiarity with **Git and GitHub/GitLab**.
* Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and callbacks.
* Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with **React.js** or any frontend framework.
* Knowledge of **TypeScript**.
* Familiarity with **JWT, OAuth, or API authentication**.
* Basic understanding of **Docker and cloud platforms**.
* Experience working with **CI/CD pipelines**.
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.

Eligibility:

* Candidates with **1+ year of relevant Node.js development experience**.
* Candidates should have good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Candidates must be willing to work from the **Kochi office**.
* Candidates must be **willing to commit to a 2.5-year service bond** with the organization.

Service Commitment:

Selected candidates will be required to enter into a **2.5-year service bond. Candidates applying for this position should be comfortable with this commitment.
