JOB DESCRIPTION

The UX developer will have two primary focuses. Firstly, playing a leadership role in the team – being accountable for high quality designs and raising the bar on user centric design thinking and strategy across the business. Secondly, you will lead and inspire a team of UX/UI designers, working as part of the team. You and your team will be designing across web, iOS, Android and Windows/desktop platforms, ensuring customer and business requirements are translated into beautiful, branded, engaging, functional and usable user interfaces and service. The team-oriented nature of the team means you will be able to contribute to the UX strategy, brand proposition, detailed UI interactions and visual direction of the service.

Role Requirement

- Understanding stakeholders’ requirements and translate them into concrete cross-platform architectural solutions
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of user experience design solutions across multiple products
- Work with the business team to understand customer needs and characteristics; business objectives and outcomes to be delivered




- Lead the scoping and execution of user research and testing to develop insights that shape the proposition, experience, interaction patterns and design decisions
- Support development teams with expert technical guidance, predicting, identifying, assessing and solving application related issues
- Define internal standards and solutions for own field of expertise and focus on creating cross-platform architectural solutions
- Promote improvements for software development practices, processes and standards with consideration of quality, innovation, and productivity
- Assist engineers in solving technical problems
- Supports product owner to identify and determine short and long term requirements for the team.
- Expertise in Figma, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON
- Expertise in responsive design and cross browser compatibility
- Hands-on experience of working on dashboard and charting tools like Highcharts or Google Charts
- Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS etc is a bonus
- WordPress experience is also a bonus
