Shree Bajrang Motors Pvt. Ltd. is an Authorised Service Center of Ashok Leyland Heavy Commercial Vehicles, providing professional vehicle servicing, repairs, maintenance, genuine spare parts and customer support services.

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Parts Manager to manage the complete spare-parts operation, including procurement, inventory, storage, issue, sales, stock control and coordination with the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Parts Department Management:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.
- Ensure availability of required Ashok Leyland genuine spare parts for workshop requirements and retail customers.
- Plan and maintain optimum inventory levels based on workshop consumption and demand.
- Ensure smooth and timely issue of parts to technicians and the workshop.
- Coordinate with service advisors, workshop managers, technicians, and the accounts department.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

- Maintain accurate records of all spare parts received, issued, returned, and transferred.
- Monitor stock levels and identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving parts.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Control excess inventory, shortages, obsolete parts, and dead stock.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, binning and preservation of spare parts.
- Implement proper FIFO/stock rotation practices wherever applicable.

3. Procurement & Replenishment

- Prepare parts requirements based on consumption, pending jobs, and minimum stock levels.
- Coordinate with authorized supplier or channels for procurement.
- Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely receipt of parts.
- Verify quantity, part numbers, and condition of parts received.
- Ensure proper documentation for purchase and inward transactions.

4. Workshop Coordination

- Ensure timely availability of parts against workshop job cards.
- Coordinate with the workshop manager and service advisors regarding parts requirements.




- Monitor parts pending against open job cards.
- Arrange urgent parts for breakdown and priority vehicles wherever required.
- Ensure proper return of unused/incorrect parts from the workshop.

5. Parts Sales & Customer Support

- Handle retail and workshop-related spare-parts requirements.
- Support the sales team in increasing genuine parts sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with fleet owners, transporters, and commercial vehicle customers.
- Provide correct part numbers, availability, and pricing information to customers.
- Support customer retention through prompt and reliable parts service.

6. SAP / DBM / ERP & Documentation

- Ensure accurate system entries for parts receipt, issue, transfer, return, purchase, and sales.
- Maintain proper documentation of all parts transactions.
- Generate and analyze inventory and consumption reports.
- Monitor open orders, pending parts and stock discrepancies.
- Knowledge of SAP/DBM/ERP-based parts management systems will be preferred.

7. Warranty & Parts Return Coordination

- Coordinate with the Warranty Department regarding warranty-related parts.
- Ensure proper identification, segregation, and documentation of warranty parts.
- Maintain records of defective/replaced parts as per OEM/company procedures.
- Ensure timely submission/return of warranty parts wherever applicable.

8. Team Management

- Supervise Parts Executives and other Parts Department staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor daily performance.
- Train employees on parts identification, storage, inventory control, and company SOPs.
- Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company procedures.





Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of automobile spare parts, preferably heavy commercial vehicles.
- Good knowledge of Ashok Leyland vehicle parts will be an advantage.
- Strong inventory and stock-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and SAP.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong procurement and vendor coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good team management and leadership abilities.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent workshop requirements.

Qualification:

- Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Automobile, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Stores Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Automobile/Parts Management certification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 3–7 years of relevant experience in automobile spare-parts management.
- Experience in an Ashok Leyland commercial vehicle dealership/workshop will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in heavy commercial vehicle parts operations will be given preference.

The ideal candidate should be:

- Experienced in managing a complete automobile parts department.
- Strong in inventory planning and stock control.
- Technically capable of identifying vehicle parts and part numbers.
- Proficient in ERP/SAP/DBM and MS Excel.
- Capable of managing a team and coordinating with multiple departments.
- Honest, disciplined, and responsible in handling high-value inventory.
- Customer-oriented with valuable communication skills.
- Able to take quick decisions during urgent breakdown and workshop requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
