Experience: 2+ years in hospital, clinic, retail, or institutional pharmacy operations. Experience in inventory management, procurement, expiry control, vendor coordination, and multi-location pharmacy operations will be preferred.
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist – Pharmacy Operations to manage the day-to-day functioning of our running pharmacy and support pharmacy operations across multiple Jus’ Onco clinics.
This is primarily a non-clinical, operations-focused role involving medicine procurement, inventory management, stock transfers, expiry control, documentation, billing coordination, vendor management and ensuring uninterrupted availability of medicines and consumables across our centres.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a multi-clinic workplace and coordinating with doctors, nurses, centre teams, procurement, accounts and management.
Key ResponsibilitiesPharmacy Operations
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
· Ensure availability of medicines, oncology drugs, supportive medicines and consumables required for clinic operations.
· Maintain appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels.
· Ensure medicines are properly received, stored, issued and documented.
· Maintain appropriate storage conditions, including cold-chain requirements wherever applicable.
· Ensure proper batch-wise and expiry-wise stock management.
· Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles.
· Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences with system stock.
· Identify and report shortages, excess stock, slow-moving and near-expiry items.
Multi-Clinic Pharmacy Coordination
· Support pharmacy and medicine requirements across multiple clinic locations.
· Coordinate stock availability and requirements between centres.
· Arrange and document inter-centre stock transfers when required.
· Monitor centre-wise consumption and replenishment requirements.
· Help standardize pharmacy processes across all clinics.
· Coordinate with clinic teams to avoid treatment delays due to medicine or consumable shortages.
· Support the opening and stabilization of pharmacy operations at new clinics as the organization expands.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
· Raise medicine and consumable requirements based on stock and consumption.
· Coordinate with approved distributors and vendors for timely supply.
· Verify purchase invoices, quantities, batches, expiry dates and purchase rates against supplies received.
· Follow up on pending orders, shortages and replacement of damaged or incorrect supplies.
· Assist management in comparing brands, purchase rates and vendor terms.
· Coordinate returns of expired, near-expiry or non-moving medicines wherever permitted.
Inventory & Expiry Management
· Maintain accurate inventory records in the pharmacy/HIMS/ERP system.
· Monitor high-value medicines closely, particularly oncology medicines.
· Generate and review stock, consumption, expiry and purchase reports.
· Maintain near-expiry tracking and take timely action to minimize inventory losses.
· Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
· Assist in periodic pharmacy audits.
Billing & Documentation Support
· Ensure correct entry of medicines and consumables into the system.
· Coordinate with billing and accounts teams for pharmacy-related transactions.
· Maintain purchase, sales, stock-transfer and return documentation.
· Ensure GST invoices and vendor documents are appropriately maintained.
· Support reconciliation of pharmacy purchases, stock and billing records.
Compliance
· Ensure pharmacy operations comply with applicable Drugs & Cosmetics laws, pharmacy regulations and licence conditions.
· Maintain statutory registers, records and documentation as applicable.
· Support inspections, audits and licence-related documentation.
· Ensure medicines are stored and dispensed only in accordance with applicable requirements.
· Maintain proper documentation for temperature-sensitive and high-value medicines.
Candidate Requirements
· D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
· Valid pharmacist registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.
· Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, retail or institutional pharmacy preferred.
· Experience in pharmacy inventory and stock management is highly desirable.
· Comfortable using pharmacy software, HIMS/ERP and Microsoft Excel.
· Good understanding of medicine batches, expiry management, purchase invoices and inventory reconciliation.
· Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple clinic locations.
· Good organizational and communication skills.
· Willingness to travel between clinics occasionally when operationally required.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

Nature of the Role
This is a non-clinical pharmacy operations role. The primary responsibility is to ensure efficient pharmacy operations, inventory control, procurement coordination and medicine availability across our growing network of clinics.
The role provides an opportunity to take increasing responsibility for multi-centre pharmacy operations as Jus’ Onco expands its clinic network.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
