An outsourcing or sourcing engineer manages the lifecycle of outsourced parts, vendor development, and technical procurement. They bridge the gap between internal R&D;/production teams and external contract manufacturers to ensure components meet exact quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Identify, audit, and onboard external suppliers and sub-contractors for specialized manufacturing or machining.
- Technical Liaison: Review 2D/3D engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and specifications with vendors to clarify tolerances and surface treatments
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
