Staff Nurse – Job Description

Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Summary:
A Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care to patients. The nurse works with doctors and other healthcare professionals to assess patients, administer treatments and medications, monitor patient conditions, and maintain accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct nursing care to patients.
- Monitor vital signs and patient health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure proper infection-control and hygiene practices.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment and health care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition.




- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Follow hospital policies and professional nursing standards.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff.

Qualifications:

- B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification.
- Valid nursing registration/license.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergencies.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
