Biology Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Biology Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for teaching biological concepts, conducting laboratory activities, and encouraging scientific curiosity and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver Biology lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments and assessments.
- Conduct and supervise biology laboratory experiments and practical sessions.
- Prepare students for competitive exams where required.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments and practical assessments.
- Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback.
- Ensure a safe and organized laboratory environment.
- Participate in academic meetings, school events and curriculum planning.

Qualifications

- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Biology / Life Sciences / Zoology / Botany or equivalent preferred.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.




- 1–3 years of teaching experience at the higher secondary level (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

- Solid subject knowledge in Biology.
- Ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Experience in handling laboratory equipment and practical sessions.
- Ability to motivate and guide senior secondary students.
