Role Description The Student Counsellor – International Program is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role involves providing individual and group counseling to students on international education pathways, program selection, and application processes. The counsellor will guide students on career options linked to global academic programs, conduct information sessions, and support orientation activities. Daily responsibilities include responding to student inquiries, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with partner institutions and internal teams, and ensuring a high standard of service and ethical guidance. The counsellor will also support outreach initiatives,
contribute to student support materials, and help monitor student progress and feedback to improve program delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong student counseling and guidance skills, with experience supporting learners in academic and personal decision-making.
- Candidates should possess career counseling skills to help students understand global education options and align them with long-term professional goals.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional writing.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support to students and families.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of education systems, preferably with exposure to international programs and higher education processes.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, or a related field; a master’s degree or formal counseling certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with digital tools for student management, basic data tracking, and virtual communication platforms.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, ethical judgment, and a strong commitment to student welfare and equal opportunity.
