We're looking for a hands-on Manager, Organic Growth to lead BrightEdge's organic search strategy across both traditional and AI search. This is an opportunity to define how one of the industry's leading SEO platforms grows its own organic presence while shaping best practices for the future of AI search.

About the Role

As Manager, Organic Growth, you will own the organic performance of brightedge.com, driving visibility across Google Search and emerging AI search experiences such as AI Overviews and conversational search platforms.

You'll develop keyword strategy, lead technical SEO initiatives, improve competitive share of voice, and build repeatable research-driven content that establishes BrightEdge as the leading authority on AI search.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex search problems, analyzing data, experimenting with new optimization techniques, and translating insights into measurable business growth.

What You'll Own

Organic Growth Strategy

- Own the SEO strategy and organic growth roadmap for brightedge.com.
- Develop and maintain keyword strategies aligned with business priorities and customer search intent.
- Increase organic traffic while improving competitive search visibility across priority markets.
- Monitor keyword rankings, search trends, and share of voice against key competitors.

Technical SEO Excellence

- Lead technical SEO initiatives including crawl optimization, indexation, internal linking, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and site architecture improvements.




- Partner closely with Engineering and Web teams to prioritize and implement technical improvements.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve site health and search performance.

AI Search & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

- Develop optimization strategies that improve BrightEdge's visibility across AI-powered search experiences.
- Identify opportunities to increase citations within AI-generated search results.
- Define keyword and AEO priorities in partnership with Product Marketing while collaborating on execution.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI search trends, ranking signals, and optimization techniques.

Organic Performance & Measurement

- Own metrics related to organic traffic growth, keyword ranking improvements, and competitive share of voice.
- Analyze performance using GA4, Google Search Console, BrightEdge, and other SEO platforms.
- Translate search insights into clear recommendations and measurable business outcomes.
- Contribute toward the broader company objective of increasing organic contribution to pipeline.

Weekly AI Insights & Thought Leadership

- Produce a recurring weekly AI Search Insights report powered by original research generated through the BrightEdge platform.
- Convert proprietary search data into compelling insights, blog-ready content, and social media assets.
- Continuously identify new data-driven stories that position BrightEdge as the leading authority in AI search.

Community & User Engagement

- Shape the content agenda for BrightEdge's practitioner-focused user group program.
- Develop relevant topics that showcase customer expertise and emerging industry trends.
- Support two community events each quarter by ensuring strong practitioner-focused content.

What We're Looking For

- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SEO, Organic Growth, or Search Marketing.
- Demonstrated success growing organic traffic for B2B SaaS or enterprise websites.
- Solid expertise in technical SEO including crawl optimization, indexation, structured data, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals.
- Deep understanding of keyword research, search intent, topic clustering, semantic SEO, and content strategy.
- Experience using enterprise SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using GA4 and SEO performance reporting.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to turn data into compelling narratives.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Content, Engineering, and Web teams.
- Self-driven, curious, and excited to experiment with emerging AI search technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search experiences, including Google AI Overviews, conversational search, or Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
- Familiarity with Entity SEO, Semantic SEO, E-E-A-T, structured data, and AI-driven search optimization techniques.
- Experience producing original industry research or data-driven thought leadership.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS or marketing technology organizations.
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, BigQuery, or automation for SEO analysis is a plus.
