- Experience in PM or as a delivery lead in an IT services company, digital agency, or consultancy — where you managed external client accounts with their own budgets and commercial outcomes. This is the single most significant requirement.
- Direct experience managing client relationships independently — running client calls, handling escalations, negotiating scope, and building trust over time.
- Budget and billing awareness: you have tracked hours against retainers or fixed budgets, calculated profitability, shared LOE estimates with clients, and had honest budget conversations.
- Strong, operational Jira skills — not familiar with Jira but actively structured boards, created and groomed epics, managed sprints, and maintained board hygiene across concurrent projects.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, QA processes, UAT, environment management (dev/staging/production), and release coordination.




- Familiarity with web technologies at a PM level: CMS platforms, frontend/backend architecture, APIs, integrations. You don't code, but you can hold a technical conversation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication — precise, structured, and audience-aware. Your emails are clear, your MOMs are useful, your demos are compelling.
- Active and genuine use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in your current workflow — not as an experiment, but as part of how you operate.
- Experience with Drupal, WordPress, or headless CMS architectures — the technology that underlies most of our client work.
- Experience with support & maintenance (S&M;) retainer engagements — not just greenfield delivery.
