Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager with a strong background in banking operations, trade finance, Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), and related banking instruments. The role will be responsible for managing banking relationships, trade finance transactions, and ensuring the timely execution and compliance of treasury activities, as well as meeting liquidity requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Trade Finance & Banking

- Handle end-to-end Letters of Credit (LC), including issuance, amendments, documentation, negotiation, and closure.
- Manage Bank Guarantees (BG), including issuance, renewal, amendment, invocation, cancellation, and tracking.
- Handle domestic and international Trade Finance transactions.
- Coordinate with banks for LC/BG limits, documentation, approvals, and transaction execution.
- Review LC terms and conditions and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms.
- Handle documentation related to import/export transactions and trade finance facilities.
- Maintain proper trackers for outstanding LCs, BGs, renewals, expiries, and limits.

Treasury & Fund Management

- Monitor daily cash flows, bank balances, and funding requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available banking and working capital limits.




- Coordinate fund transfers and ensure the availability of funds for business requirements.
- Monitor utilization of CC/OD and other banking facilities.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and treasury MIS for management review.

Banking Relationships

- Maintain robust relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Coordinate with bankers for credit limits, trade finance facilities, renewals, documentation, and operational requirements.
- Support negotiations on banking charges, interest rates, LC/BG commissions, and other commercial terms.
- Ensure timely submission of documents required by banks.

Compliance & Controls

- Ensure treasury and banking transactions comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain complete documentation and audit trails for banking and trade finance transactions.
- Support internal, statutory, and banking audits.
- Reconcile bank accounts, charges, interest, and other treasury-related transactions.

Requirements
- B.Com is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Banking / Treasury / Trade Finance.
- Strong hands-on experience in Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees (BG).
- Good understanding of trade finance products and banking documentation.
- Experience in managing banking limits and relationships with banks.
- Strong knowledge of cash flow and fund management.
- Valuable analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
