Job Description

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Functional Consultants to work on large-scale Supply Chain and Logistics transformation programs for Tata Steel Limited. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in SAP TM implementation, support, enhancements, and integration with SAP Logistics and Supply Chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to transportation and logistics processes.
- Configure and implement SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) solutions.
- Design and support transportation planning, freight management, carrier management, and transportation execution processes.
- Configure freight order management, transportation charge management, freight costing, and freight settlement.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices.
- Conduct workshops, SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
- Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support enhancements and change requests.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP and integration teams.





Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
- Strong understanding of:
- Transportation Planning
- Freight Order Management
- Freight Settlement
- Carrier Selection & Management
- Transportation Charge Management
- Route Planning & Optimization
- Logistics Execution
- Experience in SAP TM implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
- Experience integrating SAP TM with:
- SAP EWM
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP ERP / S/4HANA
- Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.

Eligibility Criteria

- Overall experience: 6-12 Years
- Relevant experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
- Minimum one end-to-end implementation or support project.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Skills

- SAP TM Certification.
- Experience with SAP EWM and Supply Chain Management.
- Exposure to global logistics and transportation operations.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
