About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Content Engineer - someone who can deeply understand complex technologies and technical concepts and explain them in a way that beginners genuinely enjoy learning. This isn't a documentation role. It isn't a traditional technical writing role either. You'll create educational scripts for short-form and long-form technical videos, simplifying topics like DevOps, Cloud, AI, Distributed Systems, Kubernetes, Networking, Databases, and System Design without sacrificing technical accuracy. If you're the person who naturally reaches for a whiteboard to explain an idea—or enjoys helping teammates understand difficult concepts—you'll probably enjoy this role.

What You'll Do

- Turn complex engineering concepts into engaging educational videos and create hands-on labs.
- Research technical topics across DevOps, Cloud, AI, Linux, Kubernetes, Distributed Systems, Networking, Databases, and Software Engineering.
- Write clear, conversational scripts that teach concepts from first principles.
- Build hands-on labs.
- Build explanations around practical examples rather than textbook definitions.
- Break difficult topics into logical learning steps that beginners can easily follow.




- Collaborate closely with instructional designers, designers, video editors, AI teams, and subject matter experts.
- Continuously improve explanations based on learner feedback and performance data.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for engineers who love teaching. You don't necessarily need previous experience creating educational content - as long as you can write technical ideas exceptionally well.

You should have:

- A strong engineering background in Backend Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, AI, or related domains.
- Excellent ability to explain technical concepts clearly and naturally in 8th-grade English.
- The ability to simplify difficult topics without oversimplifying the underlying concepts.
- Robust systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity and a high learning velocity—you enjoy diving into unfamiliar technical topics.
- The ability to think visually and describe diagrams that make abstract concepts intuitive.
- Attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.

Nice to Have

- Experience teaching, mentoring, or creating technical content.
