Role Summary

Jindal Power is looking for a highly motivated Information Security professional to serve as the Lead Information Security. The incumbent will work closely with the Group CISO organisation to implement enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, strengthen security posture, ensure compliance with ISO 27001, and support secure operations across IT and OT environments. This is a hands-on techno-functional role requiring strong technical expertise in Information security along with the ability to independently drive security projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Information Security SPOC for Jindal Power and coordinate with the Group CISO organization.

• Implement enterprise cybersecurity policies, standards and security controls across the plant.

• Drive implementation and compliance of ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).

• Coordinate internal/external security audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

• Implement and support Network Security, Endpoint Security, Server Security and Identity Access Management controls.

• Work with the central Security Operations Center (SOC) for incident response, vulnerability remediation and security monitoring.

• Coordinate Vulnerability Assessments,



Penetration Testing and security remediation activities.

• Lead security solution implementation projects, vendor coordination and project execution.

• Conduct user awareness programs and promote cybersecurity best practices.

• Maintain security documentation, risk registers, dashboards and compliance reports.

Required Technical Skills

· Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 implementation and controls

· Hands-on experience in Network Security, Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS and Network Segmentation, and end point security (EDR)

· Good understanding of common enterprise security technologies and cybersecurity best practices, working exposure will be an added advantage

× Vulnerability Management and Patch Management

× Security Monitoring / SIEM fundamentals

× cloud security fundamentals

• Exposure to OT/Industrial Security will be an added advantage

Project & Soft Skills

× Experience managing cybersecurity implementation projects from planning to closure

× Vendor and stakeholder management

× Analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills

× Excellent communication and coordination abilities

× Self-driven with a strong ownership mindset

× Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/power plant setting

Qualification

× Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related Engineering discipline.

Preferred Certifications

× ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor

× CISM / CISSP / CISA

× CEH

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in Power, Steel, Manufacturing, Mining, Energy or Process Industries will be preferred.
