As the Operations Manager at Ascentriks Life Science Division, your role is crucial in overseeing the end-to-end execution of operations while balancing business growth and resource management. Your key responsibilities include:- Providing subject matter expertise to support the delivery and scientific integrity of the Beacon Targeted Therapies intelligence platform for our UK-based client.- Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and depth of curated content by utilizing your scientific understanding of preclinical and clinical development, therapeutic areas expertise, and people-management skills.- Hands-on involvement in data review, scientific interpretation, and supporting the Team Lead in operational and strategic responsibilities.- Contributing to maintaining high-quality standards, identifying emerging trends, and driving continuous improvement across workflows and data quality.- Building overall strategic operational plans, leading team management, driving process improvement strategies, managing budgets efficiently, ensuring quality control and compliance, and managing stakeholders effectively.Qualifications / Required Skills:- Advanced degree preferred in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or related field.- 10 to 15 years of overall experience with 8 years in a team lead or people management role.- Mandatory experience in preclinical research, clinical research, or related scientific roles.- Hands-on experience with clinical trial data and/or preclinical study data.- Proficiency in Pharma, Biotech, CRO, or healthcare research environments.- Good to have certifications in Clinical Research, Clinical Data Management,
or Drug Safety.- Familiarity with global standards like Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and guidelines from FDA, EMA, and ICH.- Understanding of end-to-end drug development and experimental biology data points.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and knowledge of AI tools.- Strong communication, collaboration, and team player skills with the ability to work well under pressure.- Vision to foresee potential issues, challenge the status quo, and adapt to new ways of working.- Willingness for periodic overseas travel as per project requirements.Please note that the job location for this position is in Pune / Wakad (Maharashtra, India).
