PurposeThe purpose of Logistics and Stock Management is to ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement, storage, and availability of products across the supply chain. It focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, preventing stock shortages or overstocking, ensuring timely delivery of goods, reducing operational costs, and improving customer satisfaction.ScopeThe scope of Logistics and Stock Management involves planning, controlling, and monitoring the movement, storage, and availability of goods to ensure smooth business operations. It includes inventory planning, procurement coordination, warehouse management, stock monitoring, order processing, transportation management, demand forecasting, and maintaining optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end domestic transportation operations covering all states and UTs across India.
- Build, maintain, and expand a strong network of transporters, truck operators, LTL/FTL service providers, and logistics aggregators PAN India.
- Negotiate freight rates, service level agreements (SLAs), and long-term contracts with surface, air, and rail freight partners.
- Plan daily/weekly dispatch schedules and optimise load planning to reduce freight cost per unit.
- Identify coverage gaps in Tier 2/Tier 3 cities and appoint new logistics partners to strengthen the network.




- Drive digital adoption among transporter partners GPS tracking, POD uploads, and e-documentation.
- Build contingency transport plans to ensure business continuity during peak seasons, strikes, or disruptions.
- Liaise with 3PL aggregators such as Delhivery, Rivigo, GATI, TCI, BlueDart, etc. for express and bulk freight requirements.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, physical audits, and ERP reconciliation.
- TO ensure Packaging is done smoothly and so that shipment can reach safe and sound at the destination
- Coordinate with Transporters and end delivery post dispatch and intimate them once shipped

Qualification/Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), Supply Chain Management,
- Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Logistics && Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
- MBA in Operations/Logistics (preferred for senior roles).
- 3-4 years of hands-on domestic logistics && transportation experience
- Proven PAN India transporter network across at least 20 states
- Deep knowledge of surface freight, LTL, FTL, and multimodal logistics
- Proficiency in e-Way Bill generation and GST documentation
- Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations
- Robust vendor negotiation and contract management skills
