As a Project Engineer at a Fortune 100 automotive company, you will be joining the IoT team to support the creation of a unified namespace for the MQTT environment. Your primary responsibility will involve managing legacy system integrations into the AWS cloud, providing 24/7 support to resolve issues across the companys North American Manufacturing Centers. Some of your day-to-day tasks will include:- Fielding calls from the on-shore team of engineers for virtual troubleshooting- Analyzing connectivity equipment to determine system or equipment issues- Extracting data within bitstream for reference- Utilizing low-level Python scripting for automation and diagnostics- Presenting data findings to stakeholders- Working within the Cisco network workplace, specifically switch layers- Coordinating tasks within the Kubernetes platformQualifications Required:- Minimum 5 years of experience in incident management and virtual troubleshooting with legacy system integrations into AWS- Expertise in MQTT Data Validation, with preference given to experience with HiveMQ or Ignition- Proficiency in low-level Python scripting for automation and diagnostics- Strong understanding of JSON data structures- Familiarity with networking and containerization concepts, with a preference for experience in a Kubernetes environment- Experience in Cisco network troubleshooting- Ability to work on-site at the companys facility in Hyderabad, IndiaAdditional Company Details: The company values candidates with automotive or OEM experience, certifications in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen, and experience in presenting to high-level stakeholders.
