As a Manager- Legal at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing various legal functions to ensure compliance and provide strategic legal advice. Your responsibilities will include:- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing various commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and MoUs to ensure proper contractual structuring and risk mitigation.- Ensuring compliance with corporate, commercial, labor, and sectoral laws and regulations, including Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, etc. You will also support in implementing internal compliance frameworks and legal audit protocols.- Collaborating with the Company Secretary on corporate secretarial matters, preparing legal documentation for board and committee meetings, and maintaining statutory registers and compliance reports.- Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders on operational, commercial, and strategic matters, identifying legal risks, and supporting due diligence, M&A; activities, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B); Masters degree (LL.M) is preferred.- 6 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a mix of in-house attorney background.- Prior experience working with or advising public limited companies is highly desirable.- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws, SEBI regulations, commercial laws, and regulatory compliance.- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, analytical abilities, legal research skills, and problem-solving capabilities.- Ability to collaborate effectively with Company Secretary, finance, business, and operations teams.
