As a part of Investment Research (IR) team at Evalueserve, you will be involved in various activities related to credit analysis and investment recommendations. Your responsibilities will include:- Conducting fundamental credit research on corporate issuers, sovereigns, and other credit products across various industries and regions, with a focus on the APAC region.- Creating and maintaining Excel-based financial models that forecast and benchmark companies on financial and operating metrics using industry research, capital structure analysis, peer comparison, and recovery analysis.- Incorporating acquisition/merger announcements or long-term business plan projections in existing models of portfolio companies.- Reviewing credit agreements and bond indentures and incorporating them in models for covenant testing.- Publishing quarterly and annual write-ups on portfolio companies, including investment recommendations based on past trends and financial model-based projections.- Explaining the rationale behind industry drivers, company KPIs, business strategies, model assumptions, and investment recommendations to clients/onshore teams.- Listening to and summarizing earnings conference calls on a quarterly basis.- Writing credit reviews, including credit ratio analysis, covenant analysis, capital structure analysis, credit comparables, impact of macro and qualitative factors, credit strengths and weaknesses, sector summaries.- Developing financial models using financial statements, debt schedules, and financial forecasts.- Extracting debt-related information from databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ,



etc.Qualifications required for this role include:- MBA/CA with 4 years of experience in credit research/desk analyst role.- Excellent understanding of credit research/analysis concepts.- Experience in financial modeling and writing credit reports (preferable).- Understanding of databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.- Excellent communication skills; experience in handling client calls and other client communication.- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to develop high-quality deliverables.- Ability to work under pressure and manage strict deadlines.Please note that the above job description is intended to provide an overview of the responsibilities and qualifications for the role and may be subject to periodic modifications to align with evolving circumstances.
